At this time of year, the Costa del Sol is lucky enough to offer sunshine on the beaches and top class skiing less than 2 hours away. With some of the sunniest ski conditions in Europe and one of the longest seasons, it´s worth taking a trip while you are here. Host to numerous national and international ski and snowboard events. New for this season - a bigger and better snowpark with jumps, half-pipes and other obstacles. There is a surprisingly active nightlife in the Sierra Nevada resort. Spaniards have a reputation for being night owls and the Sierra Nevada proves that old habits are hard to break.

How to get there....
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is easily accessible from the coast. From Granada, it is 45 minutes by car. The road network is superb and you should also consider visiting the attractions in Granada city, such as the Alhambra Palace and General life Gardens.
